MATERIALS
CASTINGS Ductile (nodular) iron, meeting or exceeding ASTM A 536, Grade 65-45-12.
GASKETS Gaskets are made from virgin Styrene Butadiene Rubber (SBR) compounded for water and sewer service in accordance with ASTM D 2000 MBA 710. Other compounds available for petroleum (NBR), chemical, or high temperature (EPDM) service.
SET SCREWS 5/8" X 2", AISI 4140 (ASTM A 193 Grade B7) steel alloy. Screws are designed with a unique "TRUE TORQUE"™ head which will shear off at approximately 80 ft-lbs of torque.
COATINGS Shop coat applied to the casting for corrosion protection in transit.
