Restrained flanged coupling.
Manufactured in the USA.

USE  Couple and restrain plain end pipe, also available with a non-flanged end.
SIZES  12" - 48"
COMPATIBILITY  For use on ductile iron pipe sizes 12-48 inch, and PVC pipe sizes 12-24 inch.
WORKING PRESSURE  Up to 350 psi.

NSF61 certified on request.

MATERIALS

FLANGED BODY: Beveled, flared, or formed carbon steel with minimum yield of 30,000 PSI.

FLANGES: AWWA C207 Class D, meets the dimensional requirements of ANSI Class 125 and 150 bolt circles. Higher pressure rating flanges available. Bolts, nuts and gaskets for flange end not supplied.

GASKETS: 14"–24" sizes: A standard MJ gasket is used with this fitting. See ANSI/AWWA C111/A21.11 for gasket specs. For 12" and 30"– 48" sizes, SBR in accordance with ASTM D2000. Other compounds available for petroleum, chemical or high-temperature service.

GLAND: 12–24" sizes: Romac RomaGrip™. See pages 8-6 and 8-7. 30–48" sizes: Import - Mechanical joint Retainer.

RESTRAINING BOLTS: 7/8 - 9 roll thread, Ductile (nodular) iron, meeting or exceeding ASTM A536.

RESTRAINING LUGS: Ductile (nodular) iron, meeting or exceeding ASTM A536. Heat-treated using a proprietary process.

BOLTING: ASTM A193 Grade B7 all-thread rod. Nuts per ASTM A194. Stainless steel rods and nuts available on request.

COATINGS: Shop coat applied to parts for corrosion protection in transit. Romacoat – FBE and Romabond Polyester RG available on request.
