Customer Service
Requirements: Must be able to type a minimum of 45 wpm, 10-key proficiency, and have good working knowledge of MS Excel and MS Word. Candidates must have excellent phone skills, demonstrated prior customer service experience (minimum of 1 years) and able to enter, troubleshoot and expedite orders. Prior Oracle experience desireable, but not required.

Mechanical Engineer
Requirements: 8+ years of Mechanical Engineering experience. 5+ years in waterworks. Familiarity with ductile iron (DI) and pipe products. Demonstrated ability to working in a DI foundry. Knowledgeable of market certifying agencies including: AWWA, UL, FM and NSF. Have the perspective to make good decisions regarding industry needs. Experience designing DI cast products.

Proven ability to take a product from concept to production. Able to take the Sales/Marketing concept and develop it into a specification. Able to do heavy lifting type design including. Calculations, modeling, definition of clearances, setting tolerances, documentation, testing and validation. Able to implement most efficient means of manufacture – while considering initial investment and projected growth. Able to develop gasket designs for use with cast products. Able to manage development of multiple sizes with a consistent aesthetic. Able to develop prediction of project investment and productions costs with updates through course of the project. Ability to effectively work with a pattern shop.

Able to develop a domestic or international source for castings. Identify and qualify vendors. Develop designs and communicate specification requirements to vendor. Manage supplier to a timeline and set appropriate milestones. Communicate and hold vendor accountable to quality expectations. Clearly communicate and present professionally in an International setting. Competent SolidWorks operator. Some domestic and/or International travel may be required. Willing to relocate the right person.
